Mark and Rene began performing together with the society band Beauty and the Beats. Through the nineties and early 2000s they played hundreds of shows — corporate events, galas, festivals, private parties, large weddings and country clubs across Ohio.

The next chapter brought collaborations with some of the finest musicians in Columbus, developing the jazzy, soulful arrangements that became their signature in restaurants, clubs and corporate rooms.

After 2020 they streamlined the act into a power duo. Rene's vocals and Mark's keyboard arranging deliver a full band experience in a smaller, more adaptable footprint — one that fits a wine bar patio as easily as a ballroom.
